61st Annual Maine Lobster Festival – July 30-August 3

Have you ever seen the Simpsons episode where Homer feeds his pet lobster butter? I’ve been wanting to go to this event for years!! The world famous “original lobster festival” is now in its 61st consecutive year and is New England’s pride and joy . Tons of steamed Maine lobsters are served along with fun, games, and contests including: waterfront activities, maritime displays and demonstrations, Maine arts and crafts, visits to Navy and Coast Guard ships, harbor cruises, and a giant parade.
