Mystical Worlds Created by Digital Artist Amandine van Ray

Artist Amandine van Ray creates eerie, surreal compositions through powerfully expressive narratives. Each one of her ghostly figures floats unnaturally through the air in a journey where darkness and isolation seem to be the dominating forces that drive each visual story.

Through impressive editing techniques, the Estonia-based artist produces ghostly figures that haunt the space in what seems like a completely different universe. Her many delicate figures are surrounded by foggy horizons that reach beyond a realistic realm and invite viewers to venture into the artist’s imagination.

Van Ray blends pieces of photographs together to create remarkable realities. Below her digital manipulations, she links out to all of the original photos so viewers can see the various elements that combine to form the final compositions.
