Beautifully Illustrated Fashion Portraits

Artist Amilka Olga Vercholamova has a fantastic talent for fashion illustrations. She creates these gorgeous portraits with pencils, pastels, acrylics, and aqua colors. The Athens-based artist draws much of her inspiration from fashion photographs and uses dramatic gestures and textured watercolor paper to evoke a sense of intrigue from each illustration.

She adds only a touch of detail to the faces of the female figures to portray an idealistic beauty in each portrait. The women glance over their shoulders or stare at the viewer with sultry eyes, perfectly coifed hair, and stylish make-up. Vercholamova’s interpretation of fashion images combines a sense of ‘perfect’ beauty with swirls of color, solid backgrounds, unfinished edges, and textured skin that show off fashion images in a creative and modern style.
