Enchanting Newborn Photo Shoot Imagines Six Baby Girls as Disney Princesses

Disney is a source of joy for many children and adults alike. Once you've fallen in love with its enchanting stories and characters, chances are you're a lifelong fan. Karen Marie of Belly Beautiful Portraits has given six babies an early introduction to its magic through her Disney princess photo shoot. The tiny tots star as miniature royalty, including Ariel from The Little Mermaid, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Belle of Beauty and the Beast fame, as well as Jasmine from Aladdin.

Marie’s inspiration for this project came from her own experience with Disney, particularly the positive impact it has had on her life—and now the lives of her three children. “The amazing tales of love and heroism have always been an inspiration to me,” she explained to Huffington Post, “and now I see it inspiring my girls.”

To prepare for the photo shoot, Marie designed each set to capture the essence of their chosen film. This includes a sweet bed that makes reference to symbols found in the stories—such as a magic carpet for Jasmine and a giant pumpkin for Cinderella. The models were also dressed accordingly. Their baby Disney princess costumes were created by Sew Trendy Accessories, who specializes in designer handmade gowns.

The six adorable portraits are just the beginning. Marie is already planning additional shoots for some of the newer Disney classics including The Princess and the Frog and Moana.
