Minnesota-based artist Brock Davis sees all kinds of exciting moments in otherwise everyday life. Through observation and creative thinking, the mixed media artist finds things that are seemingly mundane and he says he “extracts the creative potential from each object.”
The significance of his art is that his many spontaneous ideas portray conceptually strong ideas that don't require a very complicated execution to complete. If you follow Davis on Instagram, you'll be pleasantly surprised by each one of his very simple, yet insanely creative and unique ideas. He takes his viewers on an imaginative journey where gingerbread men come alive, cotton balls turn into puffs of clouds, an army of plastic soldiers invade the sink, and a hot dog suddenly has mustard teeth and a ketchup face.
