Help Categorize Art and Win an iPad 2

ArtFinder is a cool website where you can find art that you like, create you own collections, and then share those collections with others via Facebook and Twitter. To be able to search for art you like, though, it is necessary for the images to be properly tagged. That’s where all of us come in.

ArtFinder teamed up with The Next Web to sponsor a game called Carataggio. You log into Cartaggio using your Facebook credentials and select a category (as shown above). The game then asks you to drag images into the appropriate bins. This information is used to tag the images in future searches on ArtFinder.

Click through to the Carataggio site from this TNW blog post for your chance to win that iPad 2. Head to The Next Web for more details.

It’s a great way to participate in building a database of beautiful art. And who knows you might win the iPad2 – or even better discover some new art that you like!
