Freaksware: Circus Freak Inspired Porcelain (5 Pics)

One thing’s for sure…this ain’t your mother’s Lladros. Katherine Morley’s Freaksware glazed slip cast porcelain are modeled after sideshow “freaks” of the circus. Katherine also asks you to explore feelings of nostalgia and horror. As she states, “the human oddities have an especially gruesome history that is condemned today, yet capitalism and pop culture still thrive on society's obsession with normality (or normality's counterpoint). Have we really evolved?”
