Guess, What’s My Name?

As part of his ‘Make Something Cool Every Day’ project, illustrator David Schwen recently created this simple yet fun series. (You may remember Schwen as the mastermind behind those pop-culture referencing illustrations we featured last month.)

“The My Name Is series started out when I thought about how people write their names on those HELLO stickers,” he tells us. “I thought it’d be more fun to use very well-known names, and illustrate simple images that quickly convey their name. Chuck (above) was the first one, and still my favorite; and after I made that one, I built out a series of different names.”
