Hidden Animal Cereal Bowls

Geraldine de Beco’s ceramic cereal bowls include a little surprise when filled with liquid. When the bowls are empty, they appear to have strange carvings around the edges, but when the bowls have liquid in them, the form of an animal magically appears.

The bowls come with three different animals to choose from – a wolf, a bird and a cat. The silhouetted forms of these animals are expertly crafted and would surely make anyone smile. Not only are the animal forms beautifully designed, but the bowls themselves are gorgeous with bright colors complimenting the outer white gloss. However, these sell for about $317 (240 euros) a piece! How much would you spend on something that holds your breakfast cereal?
