The popular photo sharing site 500px just came out with their list of best fine art photos in 2012. Included is a stunning image of a lone man walking down a desolate road, called Passenger, by Hossein Zare (see above). The photographer, based in Bushehr, Iran, has a wonderful collection of these stark images that’s worth exploring. The names are just as simple and powerful as the photos themselves.

Because of its still-impeccable condition, however, it’s considered one of those swords that mythically defies the tests of time. In 1965, an excavation team discovered the Sword of Goujian in a tomb in Hubei, China.
