There’s no doubt that designer fashion label Lanvin wanted to create quite a stir with their “Splash” window displays on view at their Paris flagship store. Rather than showcase their Fall 2012 collection by having regular mannequins pose in their usual form, they decided to “up the wow factor” by showing them reacting to being doused with a barrage of paint. Each display is more shocking than the next, and it’s almost like you’re watching a dramatic moment in a play rather than looking at a static window display. Love it or hate it, who wouldn’t stop in their tracks when they came across this?
