Beautiful New Origami and Wood Landscape Installation

Paris-based street artist Mademoiselle Maurice recently collaborated with installation artist Sarah Applebaum to create a colorful landscape made of paper and wood. Their two visions combined as they used both of their artistic talents to make one stunning piece of art – bright and dark geometric mountains, white paper birds flying overhead and ghostly figures that seem to secretly walk through a long corridor. It took the artists four days to create the stunning installation.

Vice Magazine captured this great behind the scenes video of the two artists working together. Interestingly, this is the very first time Mademoiselle Maurice has ever worked with another artist. As you can see from the video, the overall theme is a “meeting” of the elements, or in this case, a meeting of the minds.
