Manga Plates Make Comic Book Meals

Looking for some dinnertime fun? You've come to the right place. Check out Mika Tsutai's creative graduate project called Manga Plates.

Tsutai, who studies at the Kyoto Institute of Technology in Japan, created these one-of-a-kind designs that feature different black and white drawings, each representing a frame from a manga anime. When the food is arranged in a particular way, it magically becomes a part of the scene! You can even arrange the plates so that they look as if they form a congruent story.

Who says you can't play with your food?
