Fantastically Fun and Freaky Photomanipulations

Fun and freaky. That’s, quite possibly, the only way to describe these photomanipulations by Buenos Aires-based graphic design student Martn De Pasquale. (Who hasn’t wanted to ride a gigantic dog?) Though he uses Photoshop to create these stunningly surreal works, a lot of pre-planning goes into creating each shot. You can check out some of his behind the scenes photos in his Fotografa Imposible folder on Facebook. As he writes, these are “graphic expressions of a twisted mind.”

Ever wonder what it would be like to swim with jellyfish? Travel and adventure photographer Kien Lam fulfilled this fantasy by flying across the globe to Jellyfish Lake in Micronesia. Anyone who has been stung by a jellyfish can attest—it’s not a pleasant experience. But Jellyfish Lake in Palau is filled with millions of jellyfish that have evolved in a way that makes it safe for humans to swim in the same waters.
