Two Brothers Recreate Their Childhood Photos For Parents’ Wedding Anniversary

To celebrate their parents' wedding anniversary, brothers Matthew and James decided to take a trip down memory lane by choosing a handful of childhood photos and reenacting them as adults. The hilarious results, which they printed, framed, and presented to their parents, made for a heartfelt and unique gift.

The brothers did their best to recreate the childhood photos as faithfully as possible, emulating the same backgrounds, clothes, props, poses, and expressions. For one photo, they even used food coloring to turn their bathroom tiles green in an homage to the color of their bathroom walls long ago. While many elements remain the same in the before-and-after shots, the contrast between the duo as adorable, young children and tattooed, grown men is striking to see.

Judging from their parents' reaction, the gift proved a great success. Matthew shares via Reddit, “Laughter, tears…they loved it!”
