Designed by Frenchman Olivier Doll, the Branch Bookshelf is the perfect, subtle way to bring nature into your home. Visually poetic and fully functional, the bookshelf is composed of more than 80 pieces of birch plywood and veneered oak wire.

Doll grew up in the Alpes and trained at the Ecole Boulle in Paris. According to his website, his work is inspired by traditional craft and contemporary design.

His female figures twist and twirl, animated and vital. Born in Taiwan, the 66-year-old artist has a fascinating personal history. Growing up as the son of low income farmers, Ho was expected to balance his studies while helping on the rice farm.
