Last year, adorable “MoMo” twins Leia and Lauren captured both our attention and our hearts with their cute and quirky collection of portraits. Though born prematurely following a high-risk pregnancy, the toddler twins today remain happy, healthy, and undeniably photogenic.
Leai and Lauren live in Singapore with their parents, who continue to dedicate their time to documenting the twin girls' sweet, silly, and sleepy sides. When they were babies, many of these portraits were staged with props, adorable costumes, and even homemade backdrops. Today, however, their photos are less orchestrated and a bit more candid—though many still feature their signature matching outfits!
In addition to simply being adorable, the twin girls have attracted a wide audience and amassed a large following as a result of their touching story. In 2015, their mother discovered she was pregnant with Monoamniotic (“MoMo”) twins, meaning the babies shared the same amniotic sac in the womb. While this resulted in a challenging pregnancy and premature delivery, Leia and Lauren were born safely and continue to thrive. Now, their parents share their story on their website, “where each and every milestone is captured, celebrated and proudly etched within these pages.”
