New in the Shop: Artistic Photos of Poland by Michal Koralewski


Polish photographer Michal Koralewski has been capturing artistic renditions of Poland’s landscape, architecture, and changing seasons. By sectioning off a single frame, the creative photographer is able to exhibit the visual differences of a single setting throughout the seasons. Koralewski juxtaposes summer and winter, revealing the transformative variance. He even sticks to one season, showing how different a park can look from the beginning of Autumn to the end. His diverse portfolio also includes images that opt out of manipulation and present the beauty of city life and nature.

It brings us great pleasure to announce that we’ve carefully selected twelve of Michal’s photos and they are now available as prints and canvases through our art store, My Modern Shop.

Sweden’s Iconic ICEHOTEL Is Now Open 365 Days a Year

Sweden’s iconic ICEHOTEL has recently completed a project that will allow it to remain open year-round. Located 125 miles north of the Arctic Circle, the ICEHOTEL has been in operation seasonally since 1989. The hotel is created entirely from snow and ice, and includes 20 guest suites, a bar, and art gallery.
