New 3D Pac-Man Street Painting

Guess what just popped up in the Netherlands? An awesome 3D street painting of a classic arcade game from the 80's. It's Pac-Man! Leon Keer, the artist that designed the 3D LEGO Terracotta Army for the Sarasota Chalk Festival in Florida, was invited by the owner of Gallery Wilms in Venlo to make a 3D painting for the Ouverture, a large event that opens the cultural season in the area.

“It took me three days to finish,” he tells us. “There was alternating rain and sun which is always difficult with these kind of paintings, but I am used to that in Holland.

“This piece is about ‘fun.' It's a recognizable theme that awakens people's memories.”
