Occupy LEGO Land


With the Occupy movement gaining ground, it comes as no surprise that interesting and creative works would pop up from virtually nowhere. Occupy LEGO Land is a tiny toy protest that is located within a larger one. These photos were recently taken by Scott Beale, founder of one of our favorite art and culture sites Laughing Squid, as he observed the main Occupy Wall Street demonstration at Zuccotti Park. The LEGO movement's creative motto is "We must not be Lego 'Lands' – We must be a Lego NATION!" They even have their own Facebook page.

Adventure Photographer Swims With Millions of Jellyfish

Ever wonder what it would be like to swim with jellyfish? Travel and adventure photographer Kien Lam fulfilled this fantasy by flying across the globe to Jellyfish Lake in Micronesia. Anyone who has been stung by a jellyfish can attest—it’s not a pleasant experience. But Jellyfish Lake in Palau is filled with millions of jellyfish that have evolved in a way that makes it safe for humans to swim in the same waters.
