Oscar Statues Morphed into Best Films from Past 85 Years

Think you’re the ultimate movie buff? Artist Olly Moss has just come out with a new poster that takes the classic gold Oscar statue and morphs it into an illustration that represents the Best Picture winner from the Award’s last 85 years. Created for Gallery1988’s new show, For Your Consideration, the poster is guaranteed to make you scratch your head as you try and name each film. Of course, there are the easy ones like 1965’s Sound of Music or 1999’s American Beauty, but it takes a true movie lover to list them all.

Below are some up-close screenshots. You can also click here to see every statue in more detail. How many can you guess (without Googling)? Of course, if you’re dying to figure out each one, you can always head to IMDB for the answers.
