On Saturday, January 21—President Trump’s first full day in office—millions of people across cities, countries, and even continents took to the streets to fight for gender equality and reject the newly-inaugurated president’s attitude toward women. The Women’s March on Washington and its accompanying sister marches—in the US and around the world—drew over five million people to streets on Saturday, January 21. Those who marched spoke in favor of equal rights for all women as well as in protest of President Donald Trump.
