Radical Animal Haircuts


Many of us give haircuts to our pet dogs or cats, but what would the world look like if the whole animal kingdom had radical haircuts like us? Perhaps ducklings would show off mohawks and squirrels would sport a Fu Manchu mustache. Photographer Andreas Franke of staudinger+franke apparently didn’t think that this idea was too far-fetched as he’s created his own series of animals with interesting haircuts. Agency Impact BBDO Dubai commissioned Franke for the series which, fittingly, ran for shaving and grooming company Braun.

Japanese Man Masters the Gravity-Defying Art of Stacking Coins

Japanese Twitter user @thumb_tani (aka Tanu) has mastered the art of balance. He uses his keen sense of equilibrium to create small, fascinating sculptures from carefully-positioned coins. Although many of us have probably attempted this same sort of coin stacking, Tanu takes these arrangements to a whole new—and totally epic—level. Using a variety of denominations, Tanu creates intricate structures that range in shape and size. Often, he’ll first build a strong base using staggered coins.
