Rise of a Talented Teenage Photographer

Just 17 and five months into taking up photography, Nicholas Max is already starting to gain a strong following. He has an artistic way of shooting that’s inspired by other ingenues, like Brian Oldham, and there’s a freshness to his images that could only come with young age.

We get excited when we see talent like this grow and develop – teenagers able to creatively express themselves, carefree and open to sharing their passion with the world. (Who could forget Alex Stoddard?)

Klimt-Inspired Golden Map of Manhattan Celebrates the Bright Lights of New York at Night

Though designer Rafael Esquer has lived in New York City for 20 years, he’s still in awe of its bright lights and buzzing nightlife. As the founder of Alfalfa Studio, a branding and graphic design house based in Lower Manhattan, he creates pieces inspired by his enlightening experiences in the Big Apple. His latest project, a shimmering map entitled Iconic New York Illuminated, captures the magic of Manhattan after dark.
