Three-Dimensional Boxed Constructions


England-based artist Alexander Korzer-Robinson creates fantastic and imaginative scenes all using paper. Much like his series of cut books, the Boxed Constructions pieces are very similar in style but allow for more creativity with the arrangement of figures. By finding and displaying specifically chosen images, Robinson creates original and intricate stories. The pieces highlight a variety of vintage looking subjects mixed with splashes of bright colored backgrounds. Each one is then framed, causing these works to look isolated as though they’re in their own fantasy world.
