GizmoAve – Green laptops? Give me a break. ASUS just launched the new Bamboo Series of notebooks. This new campaign by ASUS is to appease us green loving nerd. The case of this notebook is made of Moso bamboo. I touched this laptop, and let me tell you, it felt as if I was touching my wooden table. Even the touchpad is made of pure bamboo fiber patterns. ASUS also implemented its new power consumption specification which reduces the overall usage of battery.This thin model comes in two sizes, 11.1 inches and 12.1 inches. They are both equipped with Inted 2 Duo processors. Not bad at all, but the price is around $3,000.Source
