New Calendar from the Viral Hit "World’s Best Father"

Remember Dave Engledow, aka the self-professed World’s Best Father? The hilarious dad just released a limited edition 2013 calendar he created along with his cute little daughter Alice Bee. He sent us the front and back covers of the calendar, as well as some never-before-seen, behind-the-scenes shots.

Dave sent us a nice email letting us know about the calendar saying, “Thanks again for your support so early on–the incredible amount of attention we have received is due in no small part to your sharing our work with your readers.” After we, and a number of other blogs, posted on Dave’s series it went viral even resulting in a guest appearance on the Today show. Dave was shocked by how quickly everything transpired telling us, “I know that there really is no explanation for why and how things go viral, but I’ve been posting these images on Facebook for over a year and a half and was definitely not expecting anything like this. It took me two years to get to 1,000 fans on Facebook; 2 weeks later I was at 2,000; and 2 weeks after that I’m at 26,000 and counting. It’s surreal.” (He currently has almost 44,000 Facebook fans.)

Out of the 1,500 calendars in print, over 1,100 have already sold out, which is amazing being that Dave is only selling the calendars online. You can still pick one up at Monkitree for $20. Can’t think of a better Christmas gift for either a new dad or the one who has everything.
