Artists Pay Tribute to Wes Anderson Films

Joshua Budich

If you find Wes Anderson's dry sense humor to be hilarious, you're not going to want to miss this art show. Spoke Art Gallery in San Francisco is putting on their second tribute exhibition to the films of the writer/director/producer which include illustrations inspired by Life Aquatic, The Royal Tenenbaums, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Rushmore, and Hotel Chevalier. Opening on Saturday, October 29, Bad Dads will take a look at Wes Anderson's most memorable and loved scenes, characters, concepts and themes.

With an all-star lineup of nearly seventy artists, there's definitely a little something for everyone. Ken Harman, Founder of Spoke Art and Online Media Manager at Hi-Fructose Magazine, sent us over these 19 preview images for all of us to enjoy.

If you're in San Francisco, between Saturday, October 29, to November 25, 2011, make sure to drop by Spoke Art to check out the full show.
