I accidentally stumbled across the photographs of Philip Newton today. Newton was first inspired when he started looking at Life magazines. Twenty years later, he's still taking pictures, traveling the world as a fashion, sport, travel, child and portrait photographer. Reading his bio you can't help but feel the enthusiasm he has for his work. “Besides the obvious factors that go into making a fashion photograph, what concerns me most is the reality or emotion of the picture. I am concerned with the “decisive moment” that not only describes an action or place but an emotional reality. Fashion has been my passport to a world of people, places and photographic opportunities. It's been a great wave to surf!” Newton has a way of capturing beautiful moments. His photos don't feel forced or contrived. Instead, they come off as natural and almost spontaneous.
