Innovative Hand-Held Printer Will Custom Print Designs on Walls

Austrian industrial design student Benjamin Loinger has created a way to print your favorite designs directly onto the wall. With his innovative concept called Printtex, there's no need for complicated painting schemes or wallpaper application. It gives you the opportunity to customize and cover a space with your own motifs or drawings. The decor possibilities are endless!

This hand-held gadget uses the same principles as an ink-jet printer to apply your desired imagery. It's easy to use, too. Printtex has two coordinate-sensors to limit the print area, which you'll see on your tablet, laptop, or phone. You then upload your design and position it within the frame. The printer aligns and begins printing each color tone separately, using its sensors to guide and ensure a correct output.

Loinger imagines the Printtex as something you'd rent from a store, meaning you wouldn't be responsible for the upkeep or better yet, buying any ink cartridges.
