Realtors List $1M House as Bigfoot’s Home and Have the Hilarious Photos to Prove It

Bigfoot Selling His Felton, California House

Bigfoot fanatics can finally stop searching—the hairy beast has been hanging out at his 5-bedroom home in the Redwoods this entire time. His location was recently discovered online after he listed his Felton, California home for sale on Zillow. In the photos, Bigfoot is seen to be just like the rest of us. He’s captured baking cookies, doing yoga, reading books, video calling his friend, gardening, and, in one image, he’s even wearing a face mask—good to know that even Sasquatch is doing his part to help curb the spread of COVID-19.

It’s unclear where Bigfoot will go next, but if his soon-to-be ex-home is anything to go by, he’s used to living the good life. Surrounded by trees, the 1,872-square-foot (nearly 174-square-meter), 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom property is on the market for just under $1,000,000. Built in 1939, it’s recently been renovated and modernized and includes plenty of wooden features.

Despite how clever this Bigfoot ruse is, it actually isn’t the first time the hairy giant has been spotted in property listings. He also appeared in images for a house in Ravenna, Ohio in 2019. The realtor at the time, Shauna Bailey, bought the Bigfoot costume for Halloween and intended to use it to try to get some attention for the ad. The hilarious idea worked, and the house sold! Now, Daniel Oster (the listing agent for the current Felton property) has adopted the same approach. He reveals, “During our initial photoshoot, the Bigfoot idea popped into my mind. The sellers immediately supported the idea, and we all hoped that it would bring a bit of levity to people on their home buying adventure.”

Unsurprisingly, the property listing received plenty of interest online since it was uploaded almost 2 weeks ago. “A lot of folks are under a lot of stress now, and we were hoping to lighten people’s day and make them smile,” says Oster. “At the same time, hoping to spread awareness of their home for sale. And that does indeed seem to be happening. We’ve had an overwhelming amount of interest in folks calling to schedule appointments to see the property. And, we are anticipating offers soon.”

Check out the funny photoshoot below and, if you're interested in the property, you can find out even more about it on Zillow.
