Spectacular Drone Photos Capture the Densely Packed ‘Walled City’ in Hong Kong

Photographer Andy Yeung continues his look at Hong Kong with a new series of stunning aerial photographs. Flying his drone high over the Kowloon Walled City, Yeung gives us a glimpse at the densely packed geometry of Hong Kong's high flying apartment blocks. With Walled City, the photographer explores the largely ungoverned settlement in Kowloon City. Once a Chinese military fort, it was transformed into a housing enclave, with the population exploding after World War II.

Infrared Photos of Rome Capture the City of Love as a Pink Wonderland

The city of Rome has been photographed countless times over its long existence, but Hungarian photographer Milán Rácmolnár has recently captured it in a beautifully unconventional way. His series titled Rome in Infrared was shot with a Nikon D3200 that was converted into an infrared camera, which allowed him to photograph it “in a different perspective.

Japanese Taxi Driver Creates Dreamy Multiple Exposures of the City While Looking for Passengers

Photographer Issui Enomoto is based in Yokohama, Japan–a port city just south of Tokyo–where he spends his nights working as a taxi driver. His cab serves as a quiet, confined studio from which he shoots glimpses of the urban streets while searching for passengers. We first discovered his multiple exposure images in 2014 and were entranced by his systematic layerings of city lights and strangers' figures, all glazed in the glare of his vehicle's windows.
