The duo say, “We strive to produce the finest woodwork, invoking quality and craftsmanship of a bygone era.” The boards are offered in four types of wood–maple, beech, white oak, and walnut. After engraving is complete, the wood is coated in oil and beeswax and buffed to a satin sheen. The backside of the board is left untouched, maintained as a surface for cutting so that the front design can be preserved in presentation-like quality.
