Creative Outdoor Installation: 50 Cars Make 1 Bus

How does an advertiser get an idea to go viral? Ask Acne Advertising agency who created this awesome ad campaign for their client Flygbussarna Airport Coaches. In an effort to show that riding in buses over cars saves tons of unnecessary carbon dioxide, they created an outdoor art installation that took 50 cars and piled them up to look like a bus. Why 50 cars? Because the average car in Sweden has 1.2 passengers and a bus can hold over 50. The installation was stationed on the side of the main road on the way to the Stockholm airport. A website was also created that not only had a live camera that showcased the installation 24/7 but it also analyzed how many cars versus buses passed by the installation each day. This clearly showed how much emission people could save by riding on a bus versus a car. Here are some shots of the bus being created:
