Artist Collin Lynch of Essarai Ceramics crafts custom ceramic mugs, plates, and bowls that are clustered with dazzling crystals. Riding the fine line between practical object and sculpture, Lynch adorns his creations in 3D rather than the standard 2D illustration or patterning; the conventional dishware silhouettes are elevated with glazed geometric forms protruding from them. When held in your hands—especially the mugs—it appears as if you're holding a collection of colorful iridescent crystals instead of something that's meant for the kitchen.

Much of Essarai Ceramics' stock consists of the handcrafted cups. Available in variety of colors, these stunning pieces include either gold or platinum handles with a neutral cup glazed in grey or white. This palette sets the stage for the vibrant layered crystals that seemingly burst from the side of the vessel and extend from its base to the lip. The result makes your morning coffee a much more mystical experience—and aside from the caffeine, Lynch's brilliant colors are sure to perk you up.

The crystal mugs, plates, and bowls are sold through the Essarai Ceramics Etsy shop. Although there are a variety of colors to choose from, you can always place a custom order if you have a specific hue in mind.
