Antique Display Cabinet Transformed Into Glowing Fish Tank

A combination of clever design and recycled furniture, this Fish Tank Cabinet by furniture and product designer Dobromila Kruszynska serves as a creative home for your little swimming friends. Inspired by this 16th-century Queen Anne display cabinet, the piece blends the antique, which was originally designed to display porcelain, with contemporary lighting and a sealed water system.

Although not best-suited for large, fast-moving fish, the system works nicely for smaller, slow-moving pets. During the day, they can enjoy the open space to swim about. Then, at night, the cabinet is illuminated by a waterproof LED dimmer that changes color with remote control, glowing green, blue, purple, or red in the dark. The vintage-style aquarium blends the past with the present, adding a touch of history to the modern-day concept.
