Luz reflejada, 20x (aumento del objetivo). 1&ordm; lugar.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Durante 44 a&ntilde;os, Nikon ha celebrado la belleza de los mundos invisibles a trav&eacute;s de su concurso de fotograf&iacute;a microsc&oacute;pica, los <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nikonsmallworld.com\/\">Nikon Small World<\/a>. Con la evoluci&oacute;n de nuevas tecnolog&iacute;as, tanto cient&iacute;ficos como fot&oacute;grafos profesionales y amateurs siguen explorando los l&iacute;mites de la micrograf&iacute;a. En su edici&oacute;n 2018, casi 2,500 cient&iacute;ficos y artistas de 89 pa&iacute;ses enviaron su trabajo.<\/p>\n<p>Despu&eacute;s de ser evaluadas por su originalidad, contenido informativo, destreza t&eacute;cnica e impacto visual, Yousef Al Habshi de Abu Dabi fue declarado ganador. Su incre&iacute;ble imagen del ojo del un picudo rojo de las palmeras es un fascinante acercamiento a la anatom&iacute;a de este insecto. Este peque&ntilde;o gorgojo es originario de las Filipinas y suele medir menos de 11 mil&iacute;metros. Discos verdes iridiscentes, que parecen lentejuelas, se superponen perfectamente sobre el cuerpo oscuro. La imagen final de Al Habshi se obtuvo al combinar 128 micrograf&iacute;as; esto, con la intenci&oacute;n de no sobreexponer las escamas y sin dejar de mostrar el cuerpo negro.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Debido a la variedad de color y las l&iacute;neas presentes en los ojos de los insectos, siento que estoy fotografiando una colecci&oacute;n de joyas&#8221;, dijo Al Habshi. &#8220;No toda la gente aprecia a las especies peque&ntilde;as, especialmente a los insectos. A trav&eacute;s de la fotograf&iacute;a microsc&oacute;pica podemos encontrar un nuevo mundo maravilloso nunca antes visto. Es como descubrir lo que hay al fondo del oc&eacute;ano&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Las 20 finalistas usan una gran variedad de t&eacute;cnicas para hacer que sus fotomicrograf&iacute;as cobren vida. Nombres conocidos como Justin Zoll y Can Tuncer est&aacute;n en la lista por sus fotograf&iacute;as de amino&aacute;cidos cristalizados y plumas de pavo real, respectivamente. Ya sea examinando una l&aacute;grima humana o viendo c&oacute;mo un peque&ntilde;o insecto se protege en una burbuja, las im&aacute;genes ganadoras nos abren los ojos ante un mundo que no se puede ver a simple vista.<\/p>\n<p>Los ganadores del concurso Nikon Small World estar&aacute;n expuestos en una <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nikonsmallworld.com\/tour\">exhibici&oacute;n itinerante<\/a> que viajar&aacute; por Estados Unidos y Canad&aacute;.
