Se usa vidrio fundido (con la consistencia de melaza) que se coloca en el extremo de un tubo hueco. Luego se sopla aire a trav&eacute;s de ese tubo, haciendo que el vidrio flexible se infle y tome forma de burbuja. A partir de ah&iacute;, se le da forma al mover, rodar o soplar el vidrio. El material se usaba para fabricar herramientas, puntas de flecha y amuletos. En esta &eacute;poca, los humanos tambi&eacute;n descubrieron la receta para crear vidrio: arena, ceniza vegetal y cal. La ceniza vegetal ayudaba a que la arena se derritiera y la cal era un estabilizador que proteg&iacute;a el material de la humedad.<\/p>\n<p>Hacia el a&ntilde;o <strong>1500 a.C.<\/strong>, los habitantes de Mesopotamia y Egipto comenzaron a dar forma a sus propios recipientes al colocar vidrio caliente alrededor de n&uacute;cleos s&oacute;lidos y esti&eacute;rcol. Una vez que se enfriaba el vidrio, los n&uacute;cleos se retiraban para revelar una forma hueca. Alrededor del a&ntilde;o <strong>300 a.C.<\/strong> crearon una herramienta tubular que servir&iacute;a como base para la t&eacute;cnica que utilizamos hoy. Pronto lleg&oacute; al Imperio romano, donde comenzaron a experimentar con la pr&aacute;ctica al inventar nuevas formas.
