Aproximadamente siete a&ntilde;os mayor que <a href=\"https:\/\/mymodernmet.com\/es\/leonardo-da-vinci-datos\/\">Leonardo da Vinci<\/a>, fue uno de los primeros artistas de esta &eacute;poca en plasmar temas humanistas, como escenas de la mitolog&iacute;a cl&aacute;sica. Su padre era un curtidor local y, quien m&aacute;s tarde fue batidor de oro. Aunque la raz&oacute;n precisa por la que se hizo llamar Botticelli sigue sin estar clara, en <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.org\/details\/GiorgoVasariVidaDeLosMasExcelentesPintores\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Vidas de los m&aacute;s excelentes arquitectos, pintores y escultores<\/em><\/a> de Vasari, el autor sugiere que adopt&oacute; el nombre de un orfebre local, de quien fue aprendiz.<\/p>\n<p>Su primer entrenamiento art&iacute;stico conocida fue el de batir oro, tras lo cual estuvo bajo la tutela de un destacado pintor florentino, <strong>Fra Filippo Lippi<\/strong> (c. 1406-1469). Durante este tiempo, cre&oacute; sus dos mayores obras maestras: <em><strong>La primavera<\/strong><\/em> (c. 1477-1482) y <a href=\"https:\/\/mymodernmet.com\/es\/botticelli-nacimiento-venus\/\"><em><strong>E<\/strong><strong>l nacimiento de Venus<\/strong><\/em><\/a> (c. 1484-146), dos &iacute;conos del Renacimiento italiano.<\/p>\n<p>Estas dos pinturas reflejan los<strong> ideales humanistas<\/strong> de la &eacute;poca, incluyendo un inter&eacute;s renovado por los ideales cl&aacute;sicos. De hecho, Botticelli fue uno de los primeros artistas de la &eacute;poca en representar temas mitol&oacute;gicos y narrativas sin matices cristianos.
