En una de sus obras m&aacute;s recientes, titulada <a href=\"https:\/\/ianstrange.com\/work\/light-intersections-ii\/#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>LIGHT INTERSECTIONS II<\/em><\/a>, el artista transforma una casa <a href=\"https:\/\/mymodernmet.com\/es\/arquitectura-victoriana-ejemplos\/\">victoriana<\/a> en ruinas&mdash;ubicada a las afueras de S&iacute;dney, Australia&mdash;con una sorprendente instalaci&oacute;n de luz. Strange da nueva vida a la fachada grafiteada del edificio, convirtiendo los elementos estructurales de perspectiva lineal en haces de luz que perforan el exterior del edificio y atraviesan sus paredes interiores.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Las l&iacute;neas de luz en <em>Intersections<\/em> buscan hacer que regresen las l&iacute;neas de perspectiva abstractas al entorno&#8221;, dice Strange. &#8220;Estas l&iacute;neas de perspectiva dibujadas no aparecen en la naturaleza, pero son elementos b&aacute;sicos tanto en la pintura como en el dibujo y la arquitectura, y son utilizados como una forma de contener, representar y cambiar el entorno natural&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Strange es quiz&aacute;s m&aacute;s conocido por sus intervenciones arquitect&oacute;nicas a gran escala que desestabilizan nuestra comprensi&oacute;n de la utilidad y la funci&oacute;n de ciertos entornos construidos. Y en esa misma l&iacute;nea, esta obra sirve para dar luz a este edificio descuidado desde una nueva perspectiva, tanto literal como figurativamente. &#8220;Todos mis proyectos proceden de la pr&aacute;ctica del dibujo&#8221;, explica el artista, &#8220;por lo que siempre me ha interesado c&oacute;mo la l&iacute;nea dibujada se manifiesta en el mundo real; en particular, c&oacute;mo las l&iacute;neas de perspectiva son utilizadas por los arquitectos y los artistas para interpretar y tambi&eacute;n cambiar el paisaje&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><em>LIGHT INTERSECTIONS II<\/em> fue encargada por la ciudad de S&iacute;dney como parte de una serie de piezas de arte p&uacute;blico y es la continuaci&oacute;n de una serie que comenz&oacute; con una instalaci&oacute;n de luz de Strange en 2019 en <a href=\"https:\/\/ianstrange.com\/work\/light-intersection-2019-21\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lyon Housemuseum<\/a>, a las afueras de Melbourne.
