Ya sea &#8220;cosiendo&#8221; una fisura en el c&eacute;sped o colocando una etiqueta de propiedad en una colina ondulada, Chr&eacute;tien se inspira en el <em>land art<\/em> para hacer reflexionar a los espectadores sobre c&oacute;mo utilizamos la naturaleza y qu&eacute; funci&oacute;n tiene en nuestras vidas.<\/p>\n<p>La colaboraci&oacute;n de Chr&eacute;tien con el artista Miguel Costa, titulada <em>Les pieds au sec<\/em>, es una mirada al papel fundamental que desempe&ntilde;an los &aacute;rboles en el mantenimiento del medio ambiente. Sus ra&iacute;ces no solo evitan la erosi&oacute;n del suelo, sino que tambi&eacute;n ayudan a filtrar los sedimentos y a mejorar la calidad del agua. La bota de arcilla colocada en la base del &aacute;rbol imita lo que ocurre bajo la superficie, y Chr&eacute;tien llama a estos &aacute;rboles &#8220;gigantes que trabajan la Tierra&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Otras piezas, como <em>Dessous<\/em>, se inspiran en el contexto en el que fueron creadas. En esta ingeniosa instalaci&oacute;n, creada durante una residencia art&iacute;stica en el <a href=\"https:\/\/collectifdespossibles.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Collectif des Possibles<\/a> de Francia, la artista viste un &aacute;rbol de doble tronco con un par de calzoncillos de flores. Esta decisi&oacute;n humor&iacute;stica est&aacute; relacionada con la ubicaci&oacute;n de la residencia en una antigua f&aacute;brica textil. De hecho, la tela de los calzoncillos se fabric&oacute; all&iacute;.<\/p>\n<p>Con <em>Propri&eacute;t&eacute;<\/em>, Chr&eacute;tien hace una declaraci&oacute;n sencilla y eficaz sobre la propiedad de la tierra. Colocando una puerta pintada y un anillo met&aacute;lico en una ladera, transforma estos materiales en una etiqueta de propiedad. El prop&oacute;sito se remonta a una cuesti&oacute;n fundamental que ella plantea. &#8220;Esta tierra es privada, pero &iquest;qu&eacute; pasa con el paisaje?&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Todas sus instalaciones, que son ef&iacute;meras y se desmontan al cabo de unos meses, abrazan la naturaleza como una extensi&oacute;n de nuestro mundo. Para ella, &#8220;todo est&aacute; mezclado, formamos parte de &eacute;l, nada es externo, no hay fronteras aunque las pongamos en todas partes&#8221;.
