En 2012, une &eacute;quipe russe a r&eacute;g&eacute;n&eacute;r&eacute; une s&eacute;rie de plantes <em>Silene stenophylla<\/em> fertiles &agrave; partir de graines vieilles de 32 000 ans. Cet exploir a &eacute;t&eacute; d&eacute;taill&eacute; dans un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC3309767\/\">article<\/a> dans la revue scientifique <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; un accomplissement qui pr&eacute;figure d'autres d&eacute;veloppements qui pourraient &eacute;merger du perg&eacute;lisol.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La d&eacute;couverte des graines pr&eacute;historiques faisait partie de la plus grande excavation d'anciens terriers d'hibernation d'&eacute;cureuils dans les d&eacute;p&ocirc;ts de glace en Sib&eacute;rie. Les r&eacute;serves de nourriture des &eacute;cureuils avaient &eacute;t&eacute; pi&eacute;g&eacute;es et conserv&eacute;es dans les terriers, fournissant une mine de preuves biologiques. Le fruit du <em>Silene stenophylla<\/em> date sp&eacute;cifiquement d'il y a environ 32 000 ans &agrave; l'&eacute;poque du Pl&eacute;istoc&egrave;ne. Il a pr&eacute;sent&eacute; un d&eacute;fi pour les chercheurs de l'Acad&eacute;mie russe des scientifiques. Auparavant, la plus ancienne plante r&eacute;g&eacute;n&eacute;r&eacute;e &eacute;tait un palmier dattier de Jud&eacute;e datant d'il y a environ 2000 ans.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L'&eacute;quipe russe a d'abord essay&eacute; d'utiliser des graines m&ucirc;res issues des cosses de fruits. Cependant, ces graines ne pouvaient pas g&eacute;n&eacute;rer de plantes. L'&eacute;quipe a ensuite essay&eacute; le tissu placentaire de graines immatures. En utilisant la technologie du clonage, 36 plantes ont &eacute;t&eacute; s&eacute;lectionn&eacute;es &agrave; partir du mat&eacute;riel ancien. Alors qu'ils ressemblaient beaucoup &agrave; la <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Silene stenophylla<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> moderne qui pousse encore dans la r&eacute;gion, une fois les plantes fleuries, les p&eacute;tales &eacute;taient plus espac&eacute;s que dans la version moderne.
