Une nouvelle &eacute;tude publi&eacute;e dans le <em><a href=\"https:\/\/bjsm.bmj.com\/content\/54\/24\/1499\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">British Journal of Sports Medicine<\/a><\/em> a r&eacute;v&eacute;l&eacute; que ces journ&eacute;es de travail s&eacute;dentaires peuvent &ecirc;tre contrebalanc&eacute;es par de l&rsquo;exercice, plus pr&eacute;cis&eacute;ment de 30 &agrave; 40 minutes d&rsquo;activit&eacute; physique mod&eacute;r&eacute;e &agrave; intense. Un tel changement peut m&ecirc;me avoir un impact sur votre dur&eacute;e de vie.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;&eacute;tude r&eacute;cente est une m&eacute;ta-analyse de neuf &eacute;tudes ant&eacute;rieures documentant 44370 individus dans quatre pays. L'activit&eacute; physique des participants &eacute;tait enregistr&eacute;e par des moniteurs, &eacute;liminant ainsi une grande partie du risque de biais ou d&rsquo;erreurs par l&rsquo;auto-&eacute;valuation. Dans l&rsquo;ensemble des donn&eacute;es, l&rsquo;activit&eacute; mod&eacute;r&eacute;e &agrave; vigoureuse &eacute;tait inversement corr&eacute;l&eacute;e avec le risque de d&eacute;c&egrave;s pour ceux qui menaient une vie plus s&eacute;dentaire. Cela signifie que moins les participants faisaient d'activit&eacute; physique, plus leur probabilit&eacute; de d&eacute;c&egrave;s augmentait.<\/p>\n<p>Pour ceux qui passent beaucoup de temps assis (8 &agrave; 10 heures), l&rsquo;exercice est un moyen de r&eacute;duire ce risque. Avec 30 &agrave; 40 minutes d&rsquo;exercice mod&eacute;r&eacute;-&agrave;-vigoureux par jour, &#8220;l&rsquo;association entre le temps s&eacute;dentaire &eacute;lev&eacute; et le risque de mort n&rsquo;est pas significativement diff&eacute;rente de celle pour ceux ayant une vie professionnelle moins s&eacute;dentaire,&#8221; &eacute;crivent les auteurs. Le v&eacute;lo, la marche, la course et m&ecirc;me le jardinage peuvent tous vous aider &agrave; atteindre votre quota quotidien d&rsquo;exercice en vous faisant bouger et en augmentant votre rythme cardiaque.<\/p>\n<p>Bien que cette &eacute;tude ne soit pas l'ultime conclusion sur la fa&ccedil;on de rem&eacute;dier &agrave; ce probl&egrave;me global, elle est conforme aux plus r&eacute;cents conseils de l&rsquo;Organisation mondiale de la Sant&eacute; (OMS). Les lignes directrices 2020 de l&rsquo;Organisation mondiale de la Sant&eacute; sur l&rsquo;activit&eacute; physique et le comportement s&eacute;dentaire indiquent que &#8220;la r&eacute;duction des comportements s&eacute;dentaires est recommand&eacute;e pour tous les groupes d&rsquo;&acirc;ge et toutes les capacit&eacute;s&#8221;. L&rsquo;OMS recommande que &#8220;les adultes entreprennent de 150 &agrave; 300 minutes d&rsquo;activit&eacute; physique d&rsquo;intensit&eacute; mod&eacute;r&eacute;e ou de 75 &agrave; 150 minutes d&rsquo;activit&eacute; physique d&rsquo;intensit&eacute; vigoureuse, ou une combinaison &eacute;quivalente&#8221;.
