(Images avec l'aimable autorisation de l'artiste.)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>L&rsquo;artiste transdisciplinaire <a href=\"https:\/\/ianstrange.com\/biography\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ian Strange<\/a> s&rsquo;est fait un nom gr&acirc;ce &agrave; ses &oelig;uvres inspirantes qui explorent les &eacute;l&eacute;ments de l&rsquo;architecture, de l&rsquo;espace et de notre concept de foyer. Dans l&rsquo;une de ses &oelig;uvres les plus r&eacute;centes, intitul&eacute;e <a href=\"https:\/\/ianstrange.com\/work\/light-intersections-ii\/#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>LIGHT INTERSECTIONS II<\/em><\/a>, l&rsquo;artiste transforme une maison <a href=\"https:\/\/mymodernmet.com\/fr\/exemples-architecture-victorienne\/\">victorienne<\/a> d&eacute;labr&eacute;e, situ&eacute;e en bordure de Sydney, en Australie, avec une installation lumineuse frappante. Ian Strange transfigure la fa&ccedil;ade couverte de graffitis du b&acirc;timent, transformant la perspective lin&eacute;aire en faisceaux de lumi&egrave;re qui perforent l&rsquo;ext&eacute;rieur du b&acirc;timent et percent ses murs int&eacute;rieurs.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Les lignes de lumi&egrave;re dans <em>Intersections<\/em> sont une tentative de remplacement des lignes de perspective abstraites dans l&rsquo;environnement&#8221;, explique l'artiste. &#8220;Ces lignes de perspective n&rsquo;apparaissent pas dans la nature, mais sont des &eacute;l&eacute;ments de base de la peinture, du dessin et de l&rsquo;architecture, utilis&eacute;s pour contenir, repr&eacute;senter et changer l&rsquo;environnement naturel.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Ian Strange est peut-&ecirc;tre mieux connu pour ses interventions architecturales &agrave; grande &eacute;chelle qui d&eacute;stabilisent notre compr&eacute;hension de l&rsquo;utilit&eacute; et de la fonction de certains environnements construits. Et dans la m&ecirc;me veine, ce travail sert &agrave; &eacute;clairer cet &eacute;difice n&eacute;glig&eacute; d&rsquo;une perspective nouvelle, &agrave; la fois au sens propre et au sens figur&eacute;. &#8220;Tous mes projets proviennent d&rsquo;une pratique du dessin, explique l&rsquo;artiste. Je me suis donc toujours int&eacute;ress&eacute; &agrave; la fa&ccedil;on dont la ligne dessin&eacute;e se manifeste dans le monde r&eacute;el, en particulier la fa&ccedil;on dont les architectes et les artistes utilisent les lignes de perspective pour interpr&eacute;ter et aussi changer le paysage.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><em>LIGHT INTERSECTIONS II<\/em> a &eacute;t&eacute; command&eacute;e par la Ville de Sydney dans le cadre d&rsquo;une s&eacute;rie d&rsquo;&oelig;uvres d&rsquo;art public et s&rsquo;inscrit dans la continuit&eacute; d&rsquo;une s&eacute;rie en cours qui a d&eacute;but&eacute; avec l&rsquo;installation lumineuse de 2019 au <a href=\"https:\/\/ianstrange.com\/work\/light-intersection-2019-21\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lyon Housemuseum<\/a>, juste &agrave; l&rsquo;ext&eacute;rieur de Melbourne. Ian Strange a termin&eacute; cette derni&egrave;re version du projet en collaboration avec la firme de design australienne <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/___office\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">OFFICE<\/a> et la soci&eacute;t&eacute; de production <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/scoundrel_films_projects\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Scoundrel Projects<\/a>.
