Galaxy Paper Lanterns Illuminate Your Home with the Spectacular Colors of the Cosmos

Every party could use some decoration from the spectacular colors of the cosmos, and these galaxy-themed paper lanterns are a fantastic way to achieve it. Crafted by Danielle Villarreal, they are an eight-foot-long string of ten lights that are hand painted to represent different nebula effects. “The lanterns look great during the day,” she explains, “but can be lit up at night for a much more stellar appearance.”

Villarreal's creations boast several vibrant hues, from purple and pink to fiery red and orange. Each is speckled with white paint to represent the glittering stars in the sky. When illuminated, they cast brilliant dotted shadows into their occupied space. These beautiful lights are currently available through Villarreal's Etsy shop called Own the Sky Art.
