Meet Ida, the 102-Year-Old Golfer with the Secret to a Long, Happy Life

San Jose, California resident Ida Pieracci may be 102 years old, but that doesn't keep her off the golf course. With a key to the gate of the San Jose Country Club and the incredible course record of 11 hole-in-ones, Pieracci has earned her reputation as a legend at the country club.

“I own this course,” she says with laughter in her voice in a video by filmmaker Dustin Cohen. Even now, the senior citizen is cheerful, active, and sharp as a tack. She still regularly plays golf around 4-5 times each week, whether alone or with company, content to enjoy the sport for its own sake.

“I am enjoying life, I really am,” Pieracci says. What's the secret to living such a long and happy life? According to the 102-year-old, “Just being a good kid!”
