Modern Architecture: Futuristic Sci-Fi Building in L.A.

B+U Architects designed this cool-looking proposal for a mixed-use office building in Los Angeles. The futuristic three-story building, which looks like it's straight out of a sci-fi movie, features a caf and retail space at the ground floor, along with two levels of open office spaces above.

The unusually designed building has been enveloped in a high-tech fabric enclosure system with different degrees of transparency and opacity to allow sufficient daylight in during the day.

“The proposal for this mixed use office building in Los Angeles, California creates a world-class landmark building aiming to enhance the cities vision as the premier quality city in the southeast area of Los Angeles County and to revitalize the industrial landscape of the site into a vital urban environment. ” –B+U Architects
