Modern Architecture: The Wave Apartments (7 pics)

The curvy shape of the Wave Apartments in Vejle, Denmark makes me want to go on a thrilling rollercoaster ride. Designed by Henning Larsen Architects, the structure was inspired by the characteristics of the area: the fjord, bridge, town, and hills. The building includes 140 modern apartments, all with wonderful views of the promenade and the bay. During the day, the white curves are reflected in the sea. At night, the building is lit up to look like multi-colored mountains.
