There's a reason why this stop-motion, Goyte's Easy Way Out, created by Oh Yeah Wow, is starting to snatch up awards left and right. At the recently wrapped St. Kilda Film Festival, Australia's short films competition, Oh Yeah Wow nabbed Best Music Video, Best Music Video Animation and the People's Choice award, a trifecta!
Though the video is only two-minutes long, it look Oh Yeah Wow a whopping nine months of production to bring it to life. The story? To show how depressing routines can be. It's about the question we've all asked ourselves at one time or another, “How do I escape the monotony of everyday life?”
Shot with a 350 degree pan motion control rig that rotated within a custom-built five-room set, the brilliant video will keep you entertained throughout. You may even want to watch it a few times to catch the subtle details. (Love the cat!)
