Colombian Bookstore’s Design Changes as You Explore Its Interior

As visitors move through the Colombia-based 9 Bookstore and Caf, they will find themselves traversing through several, exploration-worthy environments. There are the bookcases that mimic castle libraries as they spectacularly stretch up to touch the ceiling and, on the ground floor, there's a wall covered in green leaves that will leave guests feeling as though they're in the midst of nature. Because socialization is important to Plasma Nodo, the design firm behind this bewitching bookstore, there are plenty of comfortable chairs and hexagon-shaped nooks where one can play, rest, read, or converse with others. Essentially, this bookshop is perfect for anyone, children and adults alike, looking for an alternative to the mundane bookstores we're used to visiting.

When journeying through this impressive establishment, it's especially impossible to ignore the upper floor. To make room for the bookshelves that stretch upward, this level was designed to look like a floating mezzanine. Those who make the climb upward are then rewarded by the delicious scents emanating from the store's sweets-filled caf. It's easy to see how one could spend every day unwinding in this unique location.
